Later we watch Lucy, when she leaves the doctor's office. They gave her two crutches and told her not to put any weight on her aching bunion for at least one week. She bravely holds her right leg up and crutches along, sometimes resting. Then she tries some crutch-hopping using only her right crutch. Then she has to crutch again. At the end her hands hurt so much that she can't crutch any longer, so she heel gimps, then she disappears.
