Next morning Darcy hops around in her apartment on one leg to get ready to go to work. She puts one wedge sandal on her socked right foot. Then she takes her crutches and leaves the apartment … In the next scene Darcy is again crutching along a lonely street. But after some time she cannot hold her left leg in the air any longer, so she starts to put down the big-toe of her left foot on the ground - but she uses the big-toe of her left foot only to balance and push-off a little bit, she does NOT put weight on her left foot. She reaches some LOOONG stairs and takes the crutches into one hand and holds on with her other hand to the handrail - the she hops down all the stairs on one leg, holding her injured left foot in the air. At the end she disappears around the corner and the movie ends.
